The most sacred is, the most sacred thing about life.. is death.
Not only the death of the physical form, but more beautifully even, the death of the psychological form of "me".
The death of the self. This is why our gathering is beautiful, because we’re celebrating that death here. (We're) All dying before the physical body dies.
That’s why it is said in, I believe it is a, the Koran or another book, ah, close to it, it speaks of "die before you die", sometimes translated as
“Find death before death finds you”, because it’s looking for you, and rather than run away from it, you say, “Oh, there you are.”
It’s a little bit like a, when you’re in a nightmare, a monster, you’re being, a monster is running to catch you, you’re running away from some monstrous
presence, “Ahhhhh!”, and suddenly you turn around and face the monster, and it's transformed into a benign figure because it’s faced, and death is the same.
Face death now.
Die before you die.. and find that there is no death(laughing).
Only forms become dissolved.
The essence is deathless.
